SAN JOSE BICYCLE CLUB WINTER SERIES
- Series Open to Club Members Only (Membership $40 or 1 day trial membership $5)
San Jose Bicycle Club's winter series, which offers 11 events, including time-trials, a hill climb, criteriums and 3 road rides, began with an individual time trial on October 15th.
The cost is $5 for each event. Participants must be club members. Club membership is $40 (good through 2002) A 1 day trial membership is available for $5. There are no membership or race fees for Women or Juniors, in other words FREE
This is an excellent chance for cyclists of all levels to learn the sport of racing in a low key fun atmosphere. The series features 6 categories with handicapping which allows everyone an opportunity to enjoy an spot in the winners circle. **** NOTE: registration closing times will be strictly enforced, No exceptions Do NOT be late. Registration in all cases closes 30 minutes before scheduled start time. Riders meeting 15 minutes prior to start. All riders must attend.
