Course
The course leaves Live Oak High School, East Main Street and heads west towards 101, turning right on the frontage road (Condit Rd.) just before 101. Condit then turns right after about 1/3 of a mile. After a few hundred feet turn left on Mission View Drive and follow that to a right turn on Cochrane Road. Follow Cochrane up the hill and back down to the right turn on to East Main, which takes you back to the school. The course is flat with the exception of a good size rise in the road at about 4 miles into the loop.

Winter Series Rules
All events are conducted on open courses with vehicle traffic. ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST OBEY THE CALIFORNIA
VEHICLE CODE AT ALL TIMES.
Helmets are required anytime you are on the roadway before, during and after the event.
In accordance with California Vehicle Code, ear buds and headphones are not allowed. If you are seen wearing them
by either the Winter Series staff or volunteers, you will be disqualified for that day's event
and no points will be awarded.
A FALSE START will result in a 10 second penalty plus the number of seconds the rider false
starts, so if a rider goes off two seconds early, they can expect a 12 second penalty.

Pre Register Team Notes:
Due to the complex nature of setting handicaps for the team time trials, teams must pre-register their
roster with the Winter Series Coordinator within 72 hours of the race start (9:00 am Thursday previous).
Teams not registering their roster prior to the race will not receive a handicap. For the 4 person TTT, one
substitution will be allowed per team to allow for sickness. If more than one roster position changes, all
previously determined handicaps will be forfeited.
4 Person team. Team can be any combination of Men, Women or Juniors & of any category. 3rd person from your team
crossing the finish line stops the clock. Mechanical, Flat Tires, etc... exceptions will be explained at the
riders meeting.
